Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has made one lakh skilled youth training and employment target, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has ordered to issue business cards and business finance loans to talented youth on priority basis.

Permission has been granted to set up plug and play call centers in Punjab, 5,000 youth will be provided with call center training in the first phase in association with IBEX, after 6 weeks of call center training, the youth will be in a position to secure a job worth a minimum of Rs 100,000 per month.

The skilled card proposal was discussed, 480 women will be trained at the Garment Training Institute Quaid-e-Azam Business Park, women who are trained in garments will receive pick and drop and Rs 20,000 per month.

Employment placement of female trainees who are being trained in major textile clusters will be arranged, the first meeting of the Punjab Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Department under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif took place, Secretary Punjab Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Department Nadir Chatha provided a comprehensive briefing.

All the institutions for skill development were consolidated under one department, TEVT, PSDF and PVTC will operate under the Department of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, international IT certification of 4,000 youth was achieved under the CM Skilled Punjab Initiative.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif ordered to expand the number of international certification courses up to 10,000, it was decided that the "Muraki" project for training in the hospitality sector would be launched, free hospitality training would be offered for six months in collaboration with the British organization CTH.

Placement of youth being trained in hospitality in large hotels will also be arranged, a job placement scheme for talented youth abroad under "Tabeer", 27,000 requests were received under the "Main Digital" program for rural women, rural women will also be provided with free desktop computers as well as training in English and IT.

The Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Department's integrated dashboard will also be made operational in mid-April.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that training and job market will be provided to include the youth in the journey of development, it will be possible to walk on the path of prosperity only by holding the hand of skilled youth.

Skilled youth are the today and tomorrow of Pakistan. The Punjab government will provide end-to-end support for the training and job placement of youth.
